Would wearing a M slimfit shirt be the same as wearing an S in regular fit shirts?

Are there much difference in S and M slimfit shirts? Would the two sizes have the same fitting? Im buying online and there are no HT stores in my country so i cant really try them out.
So should I get an S or M slimfit shirts from HT?
