Got Shirty

I live in the uk and have recently changed shape. I would like to be able to wear brightly coloured fitted shirts to work again, but I have a size 10/12 waist and 14+ chest in most shops. Stretch fabric doesn’t work, as the buttons don’t stay done up and everyone can see my bra underneath.

I need to get something soon for some formal work stuff coming up. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I want to know what the type of shirt is called that isn’t formal but worn over a t-shirt, yet doesn’t seem poofy, nor does it have the separation on the side like lots of shirts that look like it. The kind of shirt that is normally untucked and has buttons down the middle, I think its flannel, but whenever I look it up, I always see pictures of the sides with that separation that I don’t like. I also only like the slimming version of these shirts, not the poofy ones.
