how do you shrink shirts in making them smaller?

k i have shirts that are WAY to big and im trying to figur out how to make them small somone told me put the shirt in hot water then dry it so i did and dint do anyhting ummm its 100% cotton .. is their a way to make my shirts smaller in a day ?

    Let it soak in hot water. If its coloured, its possible for the colours to run.

    A hot water wash is a good start, but the key may be in the dryer. Try setting the dryer on the hottest setting available (the laundromat has really hot gas dryers)

    If they’re way too big and they did shrink, all you’d have is a puckered mess.

    Go get some shirts that fit.

    Wash the shirt in the hottest water and dry it on hottest setting. It will shrink. Maybe do it two or three times, Good Luck!
