alex s asked:

I am currently selling brand new Christian Audigier shirts on ebay, and have noticed that everyone selling these brand new shirts have very professional displays. I have been selling my shirts at a good price, but my display does not come close to they way these other sellers showcase their merchandise. I would like know if anyone could help me out and maybe tell me how to create this professional displays. It will be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Just to let you know the majority of those other sellers are companies. To make a more professional feel to it, you are going to have to add in some HTML coding to it that’s all I can truly say.

    Here are some HTML tutorials:

and you can find quite a few just by Googling it!

Check out marketplace. Many sellers on this site sell their items with creative digital images. I do believe it will depend on the camera you use and how creative and good you can be with the camera. Many uses white background, but that depends on how you want to display it. If you have white shirt, it is best with contrasting background. Good luck!

These very professional displays are created by making a custom template.

In order to make one from scratch you will need to know basic html (which isnt that hard to learn)

Knowledge in Graphic design is required and you will want to have photoshop and dreamweaver or ms frontpage.

You then add this html code to your auction description if you are a serious seller you should be using a automated tool by now, like ebay turbo lister or my preference auctiva.com

here is a site that makes templates that make me drool!

I have been searching for an actual step by step tutorial for 6 months now and have never found one .

I am actually a Graphic Designer myself and know enough html and web design to do the job, but there are some very specific limitations and special considerations for a template that no one wants to share.

I will be sharing everything as i learn it at

Auctiva has many templates that are probably better than your current one and you can learn to customize them to your needs, stay away from the cute and generic ones…no template would look more professional than those.

This is a question that i really want a complete answer to myself, i will figure it out and share it…contact me if you have specific questions- i am a seller also, but i rarely sell clothes so i have no problem helping
