How can I make my shirts more crisp using a steamer?

Ling asked:

I just bought a new shark garment steamer but I noticed that my shirts are not as crisp as when I iron them. Is there a product that I can us? I really like how fast and easy the steamer is and would like to continue to use it. Maybe a better steamer would give me the results that I am looking for? Do you know of a better product?

All steamers will make your shirts limp it is steam/water mist right ?
Ironing with spray starch will crisp em up just fine.

you could use spray starch but you will find yourself picking of the starch after the spray dries with the heat from the iron. I would suggest you use powder starch in your wash . Wash all the shirts on the 1 wash cycle ,this way when you iron them they will be nice and crisp.
